When someone would ask me what my “dream” wedding dress would look like, I often didn’t know what to say. I wasn’t exactly the type of bride that had every single specific wedding detail mapped out ages before the special day. In fact, I barely had ANY details mapped out before I was actually faced with them for the first time.
“The dress” was no different.
I knew that I wanted something white (not beige), strapless, and simple. That’s what I gave my “stylist” to work with, and she came up with some pretty strong contenders. Anddd some not-so strong 😉
I loved the lace on this dress, but I swear it weighed 100 pounds! And the train was probably the length of three of me. If I can barely be graceful on a regular day with shorts on, I knew this was DEFINITELY not the right fit.
And then we found THE one!
It seemed to fit my body-type well, it wasn’t beige, it was strapless, and all the girls/my mom liked it too! It was especially neat to put the veil on with it and feel like a REAL bride. That was probably the moment it sank in for me, and I knew we had found the one!
So there you have it! The story of how I found my wedding dress in one mall trip and 1.5 hours 😀
