All it took was a quick brainstorm (and Pinterest seearch) to discover how I wanted to ask my close friends to be included in my wedding!
The example I originally found included putting the Ring Pops in regular ring-sized boxes, but when my nearest dollar store didn’t provide such a wide variety of selections, I decided to take the funky cylinder route. It ended up being a great choice, and the girls loved how inconspicuous they looked.
I basically filled each of the cylinders with Easter basket grass, topped it with a Ring Pop, and stuck plastic 50-cent straws in each. On the top of each straw I attached a simple label that I printed on computer paper with each girls’ designated role in the wedding. Each of the cylinders also had lids that I didn’t include in any of the pictures.
Later, Will and I organized meeting up with each girl individually and we presented them with their specific closed cylinder tube. To be at least a little bit slick, when we handed them the boxes we told them that we needed their opinions on this “project that the photographer came up with.” Cough, cough. 😉
And good news is… they all said yes! 😀
